Benefits ID Cards

Benefits ID cards are needed to receive services. You can request a new card if your card is lost or stolen or if you can request an additional card for a covered dependent.

About Benefits ID Cards

New Hires

After you make your benefit elections using Self-Service, the Benefits and Work Life Department will submit your elections to the benefit providers (vendors). The vendors will then mail your cards to the mailing address Emory has on file for you. You should receive most of your ID cards within 7-10 business days from the date that the vendors receive your information.

Current Employees

Current Emory employees do not receive new medical/dental ID cards or PayFlex debit cards every year.

New cards are only issued if there are significant changes for the new plan year, such as changes to deductibles or copays. Be sure to keep your cards after annual enrollment as new cards may not be necessary for the upcoming plan year.
