MORE NEWS YOU CAN USE

Master Planning at Emory
Emory launched its Master Planning initiative that will allow all members of the Emory community – faculty, students and staff at all University and Emory Healthcare sites -- to provide input into a shared vision for the facilities and digital investment we will make in the future. The Master Plan will provide Emory with a roadmap for these investments as they support the goals and strategic initiatives in Emory’s recently announced strategic framework, “One Emory: Engaged for Impact.” It will also identify and elevate opportunities for philanthropy, and create a pathway to a future fundraising campaign.

In coordination with Sasaki, the master planning firm engaged by Emory, we have launched at master planning website and the MyCampus planning tool survey, an interactive survey that will allow faculty, students and staff to provide input into their current living, learning and work patterns at Emory.

How can you participate? Provide feedback on the site and take the survey (ten iPads and twenty-five $25 Visa gift cards will be given to those who complete the survey).

Conversations on the Quad
November 1, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Come to the main Quadrangle anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Grab a chair with a friend—or meet someone new.   Talk about things that are important to you while you enjoy the fresh air and some refreshments.  The theme for this conversation is Gratitude.  Open to all faculty, staff and students.  Welcome from President Sterk and keynote remarks at noon from Dr. Bobbi Patterson.  Join the conversation.  https://www.facebook.com/emoryquad/

Performance Management Changes
Performance Management is now a year-round process! Rather than waiting for the end of the year to complete your performance management form(s), you can now work on them throughout the year.

IMPORTANT: On Wednesday, October 24, you will receive an automated email from the PeopleSoft system announcing that the performance management process has been initiated for you.

Having the forms available throughout the year gives both managers and staff the ability to set goals, complete mid-year evaluations, and record other important performance notes all during the year. Be sure to read your email on Wednesday for instructions on beginning the process.

If you would like to learn more about the Performance Management system, classes and online tools are available:
