HR Leaders Hold Mini-Retreat
On Friday, October 18, HR leaders from across the University held a mini retreat. The half-day session included a range of topics including building a community of practice, opportunities for growth and development, and metrics, measures and data.


Learning and Organizational Development (OD) Now Accepting Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the following programs: Essentials of Leadership at Emory, Aspiring Leaders at Emory, Administrative Professionals Program and Mentor Emory. The submission deadline for all applications and nominations is Monday, November 4, 2019. Read more.


Emory Subsidy for Fitbit Devices to Sunset
On December 31, 2019 Emory’s subsidy for Fitbit devices will end for current employees. Starting in 2020 Emory will subsidize Fitbit devices for new hires only. Employees hired between July 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 will be grandfathered into this new-hire group.  Emory’s Friends & Family storefront will remain open and provides Emory employees with the opportunity to purchase up to two devices annually at a special friends and family rate. If you have not purchased a subsidized device between September 1, 2018 and now, you can still use your one-time subsidy through December 31, 2019. Learn more.
