An Ounce of Prevention = A Pound of Cure
The purpose of an annual preventive exam is to identify potential health issues that you and your doctor may need to monitor. It can also help detect medical problems in the early stages when they may be easier and less costly to treat.  An annual preventive exam is also a great time to discuss your health concerns with your doctor and ask questions about healthy habits, e.g. quitting tobacco use, eating better, getting more physical activity. For those employees on an Emory medical plan, there is no out-of-pocket cost for an annual preventive exam.  All Emory employees and spouses who are part of Emory’s medical plan are eligible to receive the $50 incentive. Learn more about your 2021 incentives.

Webinar: Caring for Aging Relatives

This seminar is a helpful first step. Register.

The modern working world is driven by rapid advancement in technological growth. The way we communicate in this digital world has transformed working behaviors, compelling workers to be plugged in 24/7 and having a direct interaction with stress, anxiety and burnout. This seminar will provide attendees with a powerful insight into the true impact of living and working in a reactive, fully connected world where failing to switch off both digitally and mentally poses a very real risk to their mental health.
