Emory Offers Ways to Give Back

Emory is offering numerous opportunities for faculty and staff to give back to the community this fall, including Emory Cares International Service Day, the Emory University Community Food Drive and the Emory’s CommunityGiving campaign.

Emory Cares International Service Day
The Emory Cares International Service Day event, which will be held on Saturday, November 14 at Emory is organized by several partnering organizations on campus, and offers the Emory community many opportunities to volunteer in the community. Volunteers are asked to come dressed in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes, with closed-toe shoes. T-shirts will be provided for participants. Families are welcome; children accompanied by an adult will be able to participate in many of the service projects. For more information or to register for a project, visit www.alumni.emory.edu/emorycares.

Your donations are passed directly to the agencies of your choice to assist them in addressing many of society’s most pressing needs.  You can learn more about the program at communitygiving.emory.edu. Donations can be made until December 15, 2009, through payroll deduction on-line at http://leo.cc.emory.edu.
