BPI Scholars Program Applications Available

The office of Business Practice Improvement (BPI) University Consulting will enroll its fourth class of BPI Scholars in January 2017.  Applications for the January 2017 BPI Scholars cohort are available now and are due November 4, 2016.

BPI Scholars is a one-year professional development program in which high-performing, early and mid-career Emory staff learn and develop project management, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.  During the program, each Scholar completes a performance improvement (consulting-type) project related to the operations or growth of his or her current unit.  This improvement project is the focus of their work as a Scholar.  In addition, Scholars participate in the coursework, instruction, and speaker’s series to grow their capabilities as a critical thinker, problem solver, and overall professional.

The program runs from January 2017 to December 2017.  Scholars are sponsored by their supervisors to apply for the program and remain in their current roles throughout its duration.  Participation in the program typically represents an additional commitment of about 4 to 8 hours per week from the Scholar.

Please visit the BPI Scholars website (consulting.emory.edu/scholars.html) to learn more about the program curriculum.
Candidates must submit their resume and completed application; their supervisors must submit a completed sponsorship statement.  All materials should be emailed to bpischolars@emory.edu by November 4, 2016. Please find the application forms linked below:

Please contact Bill Dracos (bill.dracos@emory.edu) or Jen Kostyrna (jkostyr@emory.edu)  for additional information.
