Update to University Retention Schedule

In collaboration with the Office of Compliance, the records management program has completed an update of the research portion of the University retention schedule. The updated schedule includes information related to the body donor program, clinical trials, behavioral research, and the various boards, committees, and councils that review and approval research on campus.

The retention schedule identifies and describes University records and provides instructions for the disposition of those records. The retention schedule applies to all records created, received, or retained in both paper and electronic format. The entire University retention schedule is undergoing a similar review and revision process. To discuss changes or participate in future updates, contact the University Records Manager, Anita Vannucci at anita.vannucci@emory.edu.
