Excellence Through Leadership Nominations Sought

Learning Services announces that nominations are now open for the Excellence through Leadership (ETL) Program for the 2012-2013 year.

Leadership development is a high priority at Emory at all times; and in today’s environment, this type of development is even more important.  Further, the ETL Program has been recognized as a model for leadership development, both in the academic environment and in the broader organizational context, most recently being recognized as part of Emory’s learning and development efforts by Chief Learning Officer Magazine’s LearningElite Award.

The ETL Program provides a unique development for Emory's leaders. Through collaboration with Human Resources and the Goizueta School of Business, the ETL curriculum is specifically targeted to include senior leaders from all segments of the University (excluding Emory Healthcare). Each applicant must meet the following criteria to be considered for the program:

• Hold the position of Director (or equivalent) or higher
• Have at least one year of full-time service with Emory University
• Demonstrate high performance in professional experience
• Be regarded as a “high potential” applicant for future advancement

The deadline for nominations is  June 5, 2012.  Nominations will be reviewed and selection decisions made by mid-July.  The ETL Program will begin in late August and continue through April, 2013. To download nomination forms, visit the Learning Services web site at:  www.learningservices.emory.edu.
