Nearly 200 members of the Emory community put on their walking shoes to participate in National Start! Walking Day on April 7. Sponsored by the American Heart Association, the event was designed to encourage employees to become active and heart healthy in the workplace. The Faculty Staff Assistance Program offers Walking Groups to help Emory employees incorporate more physical activity.
