Emory Bestows 2011 Award of Distinction Each year, the Emory University Award of Distinction Program recognizes 10-15 university employees who have made outstanding contributions to the Emory Community. This year, 12 members of the Emory community were honored at an awards dinner with President Wagner on Thursday, March 17, 2011. These employees demonstrated successful efforts to create and implement collaborative initiatives between schools and/or units that produce meaningful results towards the achievement of Emory’s strategic plan.
