The 2019 Great American Smokeout is Thursday, November 21
Every year, on the third Thursday of November, smokers across the nation take part in the American Cancer Society Great American Smokeout event. Encourage someone you know to use the date to make a plan to quit, or plan in advance and then quit smoking that day. By quitting – even for 1 day – smokers will be taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing their cancer risk.

Emory will be celebrating the Great American Smokeout (GASO) by encouraging all employees to spread the word about our tobacco cessation programs and resources, such as Quit For Life and Freedom From Smoking, and to support those who are trying to quit. Learn more.

Refresh from Stress Participant Survey
Your feedback is valuable! We welcome all Refresh from Stress participants to tell us what you thought about the 2019 program by taking our survey. Please provide your feedback no later than Monday, November 25. Those who complete the survey will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for $10 in Pulse Cash (20 winners will be selected).
