TAKE THE WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY SURVEY

Partnering with the Department of Institutional Research, The Emory WorkLife Resource Center will be reassessing workplace flexibility practices at the university by repeating a survey that they conducted together in 2011. The survey will be emailed by the Department of Institutional Research on March 2 to all staff at the university. All staff are strongly encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the confidential survey. The survey will remain open through March 13 at 5PM and should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.

2015 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Summer College Internship Program provides students and departments with an exchange of service, training and valuable work experience. The ten-week program (12-weeks optional) is a great opportunity to help you manage your work load at an affordable cost, with the best student workers specializing in your area. The program also contributes to our standing as a destination university, creates awareness of our campus as a major employer in the state, and provides needed exposure to future employees.

Acceptable applicants will be currently enrolled rising sophomores and juniors at an accredited 2-4 year college or university. Each will have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in a declared major and be in good civil standing with their institutions.

Open to all divisions, departments, units and affiliates of Emory University and Emory Healthcare.

Workshop Series for Caregivers

The Emory WorkLife Resource Center’s Workshop series for Caregivers is designed to help employees and their families manage some of the most common and complex issues pertaining to caring for an aging or sick adult. Caring for loved ones can be difficult when working full time and  handling daily life. These workshops provide caregivers the guidance and knowledge to manage these challenging topics.
