Staff Training Series

Learning and Organizational Development, in partnership with Work Life and the Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), is offering this Staff Training Series that consists of short, interactive Zoom sessions that will provide tips and tools for individuals in a “non-people manager” position. 

These sessions are focused on topics such as providing feedback, ensuring productivity, surviving work-life during a pandemic, working remotely, and customer service.


The courses in the Series are listed below. Most sessions are between 45 minutes and 1 hour. You can register for these through ELMS.

Surviving Work-Life Through Covid

It is important to understand how working remotely through a pandemic is different from telecommuting under “normal” circumstances. This session highlights these differences and the impact that they have on our day to day lives. Additionally, participants will learn how behavior, identity and control influence the level of work-life stress a person experiences and how they can manage their boundaries in ways to reduce their stress levels and establish greater work-life effectiveness.
