Violence in the Workplace for Managers

The issue of workplace violence is a serious one for all employers. For this reason, the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR), Human Resources, and the Emory Police Department have partnered to launch an online training program for all Emory University managers/supervisors.

  • Learn what actions you can take as a leader if you find yourself confronting a potential threatening situation.

Course Content

This course examines the ten warning signs of workplace violence, introduces you to five resources at Emory University to assist you in addressing concerning behavior, and examines what actions you should take if you see warning signs.

This course is mandatory for all managers and supervisors at Emory University.
