Emory Promotes Great American Smokeout

On Thursday, Nov. 20, staff from the Faculty Staff Assistance Program will join together with wellness champions from individual departments and schools to promote the Great American Smokeout (GASO). The American Cancer Society started the national event to encourage tobacco cessation by establishing an official quit day. Read more.

2014 Flu Vaccines
In order to be protected against seasonal influenza, you must get a flu shot each and every year.  The 2014-2015 vaccine will protect against three different flu virus strains: influenza A (H1N1) virus, influenza A (H3N2) virus, and influenza B virus. Emory Faculty and staff have several options for getting a flu vaccine this year. Learn more.

National Survivors of Suicide Loss Day - Event
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is sponsoring a day of healing for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Check-in at noon and a light lunch will be served. There is no charge for this event, but pre-registration allows us to have plenty of refreshments and resources.
