It only takes about 15 minutes and provides a quick snapshot of your overall health as well as some ideas for improvement. Plus, you’ll earn a $25 gift card! The health assessment is the gateway to all the other medical plan incentives you can earn in 2015. Free Workshops on College Admissions and Financial Aid
The Emory WorkLife Resource Center is offering a summer series of workshops to help parents and their high school kids navigate how to get into and pay for college. Four workshops are offered and are free to Emory employees, their kids, and spouses/partners. Pre-registration is required. View workshops.


New Recovery Support Series
The Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is offering a series of free, confidential, interactive workshops that are open to Emory employees who are in active recovery from alcohol and other substances. Participation provides an opportunity to connect with fellow employees in recovery and strengthen relapse prevention skills throughout the year. Learn more.


Webinar: Starting an Exercise Program
With all the literature out today discussing the need for more exercise, the more common question is, “where do I start?” Not everyone has exercise experience, and proper structure along with safety is very important to have long term success. During this webinar, participants will learn steps to help get them started with an exercise program and sustain healthier exercise habits to continuously enhance their health! Two dates are available: June 23, 2015 (12:00 pm – 12:30 pm) OR July 1, 2015 (12:30 pm – 1:00 pm). Learn more and register.


Workshop: Caregiver Wellness - Take Time for Nutrition
Do you find yourself making unhealthy eating choices due to the demands of caregiving?  Often our physical health takes a backseat to other priorities, which can lead to poor diets, impulsive food purchases and health complications.  During this in-person workshop, participants will learn strategies for nutritional self-care, such as tips for grocery shopping, meal planning and eating healthy on the go.
