Staff Fest 2017

Come join the fun as we celebrate Staff Fest on May 12, 2017! Emory hosts this special annual event to show appreciation to staff members for the hard work and support they provide to the university all year long. The main event will take place from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. on the Quad.  Sign up now for volleyball, the fun run-fun walk, and learn more about what activities are planned on the Staff Fest website.

The application for the summer cohort for the Essentials of Leadership at Emory Program is now available on the LOD website. Use Your Courtesy Scholarship to Study at Candler
Candler is hosting a series of events to learn more about the school?  17 degree programs, including 10 dual degrees offered in partnership with other Emory graduate schools and the University of Georgia. Emory employees may complete a degree using their courtesy scholarship benefit, which covers tuition and fees for up to 5 credit hours per semester. Join us for a Twilight Tour, Dinner and Information Session April 20 or May 18, or for a Lunch and Learn Information Session April 19 or May 11. Learn more.


OnBase Town Hall in April and May
LITS Business Services and Records Management will partner to present information for current and prospective OnBase users. Two events will be held, one on Thursday, April 13 and a second on Thursday, May 18. Both are in White Hall Auditorium from 9-11 am. Light refreshments will be provided. Come learn how Emory’s ECM team can help you identify groups of documents and processes in your area where OnBase could be put to work for you. Learn more.


Emory Police Offering P.R.I.D.E. Classes for Parents and Teens
Emory Police will host a Teen P.R.I.D.E class on April 29, 2017 from 10:30 am- 12:30 pm at Oxford College, 114 Few Circle, Room 101, Oxford, Georgia 30322. P.R.I.D.E. is a free, two-hour course designed to help parents and their new teen drivers. The program seeks to reduce the high number of crashes, injuries and fatalities involving teen drivers in the state of Georgia.


New Workshop Offered: Bullying - What You Need to Know
Student bullying in schools is a major concern. This workshop teaches the specific definition of bullying, how to recognize it and its impact on others.  Parents will learn how to partner with school officials in preventing/reducing incidents, procedures for reporting allegations and methods to support the children. Emory College Summer School - Earn College Credit
Did you know your college-age dependent can study at Emory this summer and utilize the Courtesy Scholarship tuition benefit? Emory College of Arts and Science offer courses on campus and online.
