HR Toolkit Course Now Offered Online

Learning and Organizational Development announces that the HR Toolkit Course is now available as an online course. The HR Toolkit, which was previously taught in person over a two-day period, provides an overview of the essential HR practices and procedures for staff with human resources responsibilities. The online curriculum consists of ten courses that cover each division of Central HR.  In order to complete the course and receive full credit on their transcript, participants are required to enroll and complete all ten sessions. These are set up as ten separate online courses so employees can complete each session at their leisure. Enrollment is through the ELMS System.

To enroll, you will log into ELMS:

  1. Sign into ELMS
  2. Click on “Search Catalog” (Be sure that in the “Search Category” in the “Basic Search” box, you select “All” as it is listed as a Curriculum).
  3. After selecting “All”, you will type Human Resources Toolkit in the Search bar.
  4. Click “Search All”

Please register first for the Human Resources Toolkit (Main Program/Curriculum), listed as shown below.  In order to receive full credit for the course, you must register for the full Curriculum

Human Resources Toolkit (Main Program) (200730)

Once you register for the Curriculum, you will see the ten individual courses for each department in Central Human Resources.  You must “Enroll” in all ten activities (sessions).  After enrolling, you can launch the session at any time.
