Emory Launches New Financial Education Program  – “Finance Matters”

financemattersManaging finances is one of the challenges every employee faces.  To help you learn more about making good financial choices,  the Work/Life Resource Center is launching Finance Matters, a new program that provides easy access to financial education at work.  From how to make the most of Emory’s benefits to buying your first house to estate planning, the program is designed to have something for everyone:

  1. Classes are targeted to faculty and staff needs at various career and life stages
  2. Classes will be taught by outside professionals who are subject matter experts, and held at convenient times and locations
  3. Web site provides “one stop shopping” access to all Emory’s resources related to your financial life.

Classes and resources are available on a wide range of financial topics. Finance Matters is kicking off with Estate Planning Essentials 1 on September 17, and Buying a Home on September 24. Learn more at www.worklife.emory.edu.

This program was jointly developed by the Emory WorkLife Resource Center, the Benefits department, and the Faculty Staff Assistance Program.
