If you are out of compliance for Emory’s vaccine requirement, you will get daily email notifications. These vaccine compliance reminders are different from Emory’s testing compliance reminders. If you have been vaccinated, but have not uploaded your vaccine card into HOME, you will receive daily reminders until your vaccine status (both doses) are uploaded and confirmed. Emory WorkLife Announces Upcoming Webinars:

Maximizing Your Day: Effective Time Management
Sept 9, 2021 12pm-1pm
Often the day seems to fly by without one having accomplished a thing on one’s to-do list. If time management was so easy to accomplish on one’s own, then why do we feel so overwhelmed? This session will provide a basic explanation of the time management process and the characteristics of effective time managers. It will discuss the importance of prioritizing important events and explore the role of delegation and communicating delegation requests with others. Time management is a learned skill. It requires self-discipline and a desire to become conscious of how one manages one’s daily activities. This workshop is offered by Emory WorkPlace Options. Register here. If you have any questions about this webinar or Emory’s WorkLife resources please contact mary.ellen.eady@emory.edu or 404-727-4177.

Changing Relationships with You and Your Parents
It is important to communicate more calmly and productively with aging parents who can no longer live independently. Most adult children find it difficult to talk to their parents about their decline in physical and mental abilities, external care services they may need, and the possibility of new living arrangements. To make this process easier, this session will present participants with techniques that overcome common communication barriers when elders are resistant, angry, or unwilling to listen. They will also explore helpful assumptions about aging and how to understand the loss of independence from their parent’s perspective. This workshop is offered by Emory Vender WorkPlace Options. If you have any questions about this webinar or caregiver benefits at Emory please contact mary.ellen.eady@emory.edu or 404-727-4177. Register here.

Caregiver Conversations
Join a virtual caregiver meet-up to discuss caregiving strategies, stressors involved with caring for loved ones. This will also be an opportunity to learn about resources within Emory/local community and beyond. Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 12pm-1pm.  Please email to receive invitation to group.
