Nutrition Fads: Fact or Fiction?

In this webinar we will discuss the validity of several current nutrition “hot topics.” We will also provide recommendations for a healthy nutrition lifestyle, and resources for accurate information.

Presenters: Elizabeth (Libby) Sells and Sarah M. Smith

Libby Sells, RD, LD: Graduated from Miami University in 2014 with a bachelor of science in kinesiology and health, then went on to complete a dietetic internship at Edward Hines VA Hospital just outside of Chicago. Libby spent some time in Ohio working with home tube feeding patients before joining the inpatient dietitian staff at Emory.

Sarah M. Smith, MS, RD, LD. Sarah obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Auburn University, and completed her supervised dietetics practice with Emory University Hospital. She is currently a clinical dietitian at Emory University Hospital’s Clifton campus. Sarah works as an inpatient dietitian for the general medicine and medical ICU patient populations. Additionally, she plays an active role in precepting dietetic interns with Emory’s internship program.
