CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES


We want your ideas for the 2014 Staff Fest Theme!

Emory University's Staff Fest will take place on Friday, May 16, 2014, celebrating the 2013-2014 academic year and showing appreciation to our staff members for the hard work and support they provide to the university all year.

The selected winning theme will be used on the 2014 Staff Fest t-shirt.


arrow  ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to all Emory University regular staff (benefits-eligible staff who work 20 or more hours per week). Faculty, employees of Emory Healthcare, and individuals on the selection committee are not eligible to participate.



arrow  PRIZES

The winner will receive a 2014 Staff Fest t-shirt, a $25 gift card to Emory's Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and recognition with a photo in relevant promotions.



arrow  SUBMISSIONS

To enter a theme idea, you must complete and submit a 2014 Staff Fest Theme Contest Application Form on or before the deadline date (to download the form in MS Word, click here). Submit your completed application form by email to kmannin@emory.edu. Include in your subject line "Staff Fest Theme Contest." If you are unable to email, call Kay Manning at 404-727-7550.

Optional – In addition to the application form, you can also submit visual material (i.e. a logo or design). If a logo or design is included, send a valid file version (pdf, jpg, png, gif) of your design along with your application form in your email submission. Visual designs should contain no more than two (2) colors. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that it does not contain any copyrighted material.

All submissions must be received via email by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2014.


 

arrow  SELECTION PROCESS

The theme for Staff Fest 2014 will be voted on by a committee of Employee Council members with the final approval of HR Staff Fest committee members.
