Emory Search Group (ESG) is an internal recruiting organization committed to the success of Emory University through identification and recruitment of outstanding external talent for hard-to-fill and mid-to-executive level searches.

Services
- Assist with the development of a job description
- Develop a search strategy in partnership with Hiring Official
- Thorough prescreening of candidates
- Coordinate interviews
- Provide Hiring Official/Search Committee with status reports throughout the process
- Manage the entire interview process, up to and including negotiation of job offer
- Complete reference and background checks
- Complete Search Activity Report for EOP
- Follow-up with candidates not selected
Process
- Hiring Official meets with ESG to review job description, prescreening criteria and to discuss search strategy.
- ESG initiates search including advertising, candidate cultivation and prescreening.
- Qualified candidates are presented. The Search Committee selects candidates to interview.
- ESG arranges interviews.
- Search Committee completes interviews and selects top candidate.
- Employment offer is approved and extended.

- Placement fee of 10% of first year salary

Terms
- ESG operates as a retained recruitment service. A placement fee is payable regardless of how the candidate is located (internal, referral, etc).
- ESG offers a 90-day guarantee. If the new hire resigns within the first 90 days of employment, ESG searches for a replacement at no additional charge/placement fee.
