Job description as advertised: 

Summary of Duties: Develop computational and statistical methods to analyze neuroimaging data from infants and school-aged children (in both cross-sectional and longitudinal data sets).  Design and implement novel techniques for optimizing data collection from infants and children.  Prepare manuscripts and extramural grants and collaborate with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) physicists, social neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians.

Qualifications: The position requires a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Magnetic Resonance Physics, Computer Science, Neuroscience, Psychology or related field of study.  The position requires experience with research in MRI data analysis and brain network analyses.  Requires experience with MRI data acquisition, MRI analysis software packages (i.e., FSL, AFNI for diffusion and functional MRI data analyses) and computer programming experience (MATLAB, C/C++, Bash scripts).  Requires experience with MR Physics and MR sequences, experience running MRI scanner and collecting neuroimaging data, and experience with MR image processing.  Requires experience scripting in Bash and MATLAB and experience with algorithm development in medical image processing.  Requires experience utilizing neuroimaging software packages such as FSL, AFNI, or FreeSurfer.
