Dental Plan Overview
Dental PPO — Humana (Traditional)
NEW - Emory realizes that good dental health begins with routine preventive care. To this end, services received by either In- or Out-of-Network providers are covered by the plan at 100% up to reasonable and customary. Some examples of routine preventive care include:
- Oral examinations
- Routine cleanings and polishing
- Fluoride
- Sealants (permanent molars only)
- Full Mouth Series X-Rays
- Space maintainers
NEW - Deep Cleaning (full mouth debridement, CPT 4355) will now be covered under preventive services as a replacement for one of your routine cleanings once in a 24-month period of time.
Dental Access — Humana/Compbenefits (Current Enrollees ONLY)
With this plan, members are free to choose any licensed dentist, including those in the Dental Access — CompBenefits network. Members who select an In-Network Access provider enjoy higher benefits and lower out-of-pocket costs. This plan offers a smaller network of dentists with no deductible, moderate In-Network co-pays and a moderate schedule of reimbursements for Out-of-Network services. This plan has the lowest employee contribution.
Be sure to check with your dentist of choice before receiving dental services to ensure he/she is participating in this plan.
