Online Enrollment for 2008 is available to all Emory University Medical House Staff. Review the online enrollment information as well as the online enrollment instructions.

Employee Self Service Online Enrollment

To enroll online, you need your Emory Network ID and password. Your Emory Network ID and password provide access to these online services:

New Medical House Staff

To access your Emory Network ID and password, go to Employee Self Service. If you are a first-time user, click the link to obtain your ID and password.

To view your Network ID and password, you must enter your date of birth and Social Security Number. If you do not have a valid U. S. Social Security Number, follow the instructions on the web page to obtain your ID and password. If you encounter problems accessing this web page, please call the IT Help Desk at (404) 727-7777, between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for assistance.

Current Medical House Staff

You were provided your Network ID and password when you were hired. However, if you do not remember your Network ID or password, you should contact the UTS Help Desk at (404) 727-7777, between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for assistance.

Departing Medical House Staff

If you wish to change your benefit elections, you must complete a paper enrollment form. Enrollment forms, along with your COBRA information, will be mailed to the home address you currently have listed in the Employee Self-Service system. Please verify whether your mailing address is correct by logging into the "My Personal Information" portion of the Employee Self Service web site. Update your address, if needed, as COBRA information mailed to you will be of a time sensitive nature.

Important Notes

  • Please review your Benefits Enrollment Guide BEFORE beginning your online enrollment.
  • Take a few minutes to verify whether your preferred providers and facilities are still in network ("Core" or "In-Network") and participating in the plans you select. This guarantees you receive the highest level of benefits available under the plans.

Online Enrollment Instructions

How to Enroll Through Employee Self Service

  • 1. Access the Employee Self Service web site. The preferred browser for viewing is Internet Explorer v6 or higher. Using Netscape or another browser may mean certain functions may not work and the speed may be much slower.
  • 2. Login to the site using your Network ID and password. If you do not know your Network ID or password, please call the UTS helpdesk at (404) 727-7777. Remember, your password is case sensitive.
  • 3. Click "Sign In". Before beginning your benefits enrollment, please verify and update your address using the steps below.
    • a. My Personal Info
    • b. View Personal Info
    • c. Update or change home address - be sure to save when you are finished.
  • 4. Change your elections by clicking "Edit" beside the appropriate plan and follow the prompts to view and/or change your current coverage.
    • a. After editing your current coverage in each plan your new election, covered dependents and payroll deductions are displayed.
    • b. You will be prompted at the bottom of the page to Continue if the coverage is correct or Edit if you have made an error.
  • 5. Enroll a dependent by clicking "Enroll" next to their name in the dependent listing at the bottom of each plan page.
  • 6. Add a dependent by clicking the "New Dependent or Beneficiary" button at the bottom of each page. Follow online instructions.
  • 7. Drop a dependent by un-checking "Enroll" on that plan’s page.
  • 8. Print a copy of the screen entitled "Enrollment Summary" once you have finalized your elections.
  • 9. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Continue" at the bottom of the "Enrollment Summary" page, and then Submit after reading the Authorize Elections Statement.
    • The final page to appear will be the "Confirmation" page. This page confirms for you that your elections have been successfully submitted. Please print this page for your records.
