Health Plan OverviewAetna POS : Of the health plans that Emory offers, the POS plan is designed as the richest plan from a benefit coverage standpoint. It offers participants the lowest deductibles and co-pays for services. Due to the richness of the plan's design, this plan has the highest employee contributions through payroll deduction. BCBS of GA PPO: Of the health plans that Emory offers, the PPO plan is designed to offer the broadest network of physicians in Georgia as well as nationally and abroad. Costs for services covered under the plan are shared more with participants than under the POS plan, therefore the PPO plan has lower employee contributions through payroll deduction.
