Emory Law offers legal training for non-lawyers. The Juris Master degree provides professionals foundational legal training specific to their fields or interests, helping them advance their careers. New online study formats are available in health care law and business law for August or January enrollment. Eligible employees receive the courtesy scholarship. Interested in a career in Nursing? Finance Matters Workshops Return in Fall 2017
The Emory WorkLife Resource Center’s workshop series, Finance Matters, is specifically designed to educate Emory employees on topics related to personal finances by fostering an understanding of money management principles. Partnering with Emory’s retirement vendors like Fidelity and SmartPath Financial this fall’s workshops will address a diverse range of personal finance topics such as dealing with basic budgeting, estate planning, understanding the principles of investing, and managing financial stress. Ethics and the Arts Program Documentary Screening of “Screenagers”
The Ethics and the Arts Program at Emory Center for Ethics is co-sponsoring a Parent Series coordinated by The Willow Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting early childcare education through children, educators and parents. As a part of The Willow Foundation’s Parent Series, the documentary screening of “Screenagers” will be shown in the Ethics Commons room 102 on October 25th at 7-9pm. The documentary highlights the difficulties of growing up in a technology based society and the effects this has on our youth. There will also be a diverse panel discussion following the screening.
