Emory Receives Platinum Recognition as a "Fit Friendly" Employer The American Heart Association (AHA) has recognized Emory at the Platinum level as a "fit friendly" employer for its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its staff. Each year, AHA recognizes employers at the Platinum level who "fulfill all the gold-level criteria and demonstrate at least one behavior change specified in the Start! application form, achieve at least one cost savings outcome specified in the Start! application form and have achieved a positive return on investment." The award recognizes both Emory University and Emory Healthcare. Emory was a gold-medal recipient last year.
