Submit a Nomination for the International Awards

You are invited to submit nominations for the three prestigious awards presented each year by the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives. The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 17.

  • The Marion V. Creekmore Award for Internationalization is given each year to an Emory faculty member who excels in the advancement of the University’s commitment to internationalization. The award was established by the generous gift of Claus M. Halle and honors the work of Marion V. Creekmore, who served as Emory University’s inaugural vice provost for international affairs and first director of The Claus M. Halle Institute for Global Learning.

  • The Sheth Distinguished International Alumni Award, established by a generous gift from Madhu and Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing, seeks to recognize Emory University’s international alumni who are highly distinguished either nationally or internationally in their business, profession, or life’s work and who have made outstanding contributions to humanity, science, art, or human welfare.

  • The International Outreach Award was created in 2012 to recognize professional staff who have made significant contributions to Emory’s internationalization through the programs, schools, and units in which they serve, and who also extend Emory’s reputation by contributing their expertise to international professional networks in their respective fields of research, teaching, and higher education.
